Poseidon

The sea is calm
The waves go up and down slowly
The wind whispers a soft breeze
The seagulls glide through the warm air
There is a woman at the almost desert beach under a sunshade
Poseidon is happy
because someone is admiring the peaceful afternoon he made

She is reading a book
The wind is moving her hair softly
The seagulls are singing a relaxing song
She only stops her reading to sip her iced lemon tea
She shivers as the ice cubes touch her lips
Poseidon is happy
because Aphrodite has shown him one of her beauties
only to thank the peaceful afternoon he made

Another girl appears at the end of the beach
She walks slowly, thinking of something
She arrives at the sunshade
and seats beside the woman
She remains in silence
The waves go up and down
The wind breezes
The seagulls glide
The woman continues reading
The girl continues to be quiet
The woman gets her tea and
while she is sipping
the girl starts talking
"I'm sad"
The woman puts her drink back on the table
"I know"
"He left me"
"I supposed that was it"
"I need your help"
"I'm here for you"
"Thanks"
"It's ok, I just care about you"
"Let's go?"
"Ok"

The waves go up and down as they stand up
The wind breezes as they take their things
The seagulls glide as they go away
Poseidon is happy today
because he witnessed and could understand the meaning of true friendship.
